Finally finished my Journey cosplay just in time for Anime Boston! If you have not played this amazing game by ThatGameCompany, go do it nooww~ Seriously, it will give you so many feels!

Costume Progress
The mask is made out of Papier-mâché that was molded to half of a blown up balloon. It was cut to shape, sanded, painted black, covered in thin black fabric with liquid starch, thick elastic was attached to go around my head and socks were glued inside for comfort.

Hood is just cotton and bias tape with interfacing at the top to hold up the shape and ears. Figuring out this pattern made my head hurt...

The robe was certainly the most time consuming but also the most fun! All of the embroidery designs were hand cut and ironed on with Heat'n Bond. @A@; Hands never cramped so much.

I wore a white long sleeve shirt, cuddl duds and slippers underneath the robe.

I will have to share another photo of the back with the scarf as it is one of my favorite parts. It is cotton as well with white detailing ironed on with Heat'n Bond. I then used reflective tape for the inside designs so that when you take a picture with the flash it looks like it's glowing!
